Working with comparison results.
This topic describes how you can work with results of the comparison.
Commands used to merge workbooks are described in the Merge Workbooks topic.

This windows contains 3 parts:
List with differences is shown separately, in the Difference Browser window. Browser window contains list of compared worksheets, Quick Merge Toolbar and list of differences.
Worksheets can be tiled horisontally or vertically. If your spreadsheet has many columns - horizontal layout is more suitable.
If you compare several pairs of the worksheets, you can switch between them using Difference Browser. Only one pair of sheets at a time can be shown in this dialog.
Using Zoom button you can change zoom on difference report and see more data by making cells smaller:

In both sheet views modified data is marked with colors: List with differences contains Sheet and address of the modification - which rows\columns have been added or deleted. For changed cells xlCompare shows old and new value in this list.
This screenshot shows deleted row:
On the left side row is marked as deleted with red color. On the right view (newer data) this row is missed.
Modified cell:
On the right side formula produced 8500 and on left side 0. Both cells are marked with blue color in views.
Difference report may contain the following items:
- added row
- deleted row
- added column
- deleted column
- added cell
- deleted cell
- changed cell
You can use right click menu in the Difference Browser and on both worksheets.

Cut, Copy, Paste commands performs clipboard operations. In list control you can only copy selected difference to clipboard. In worksheet window you can cut, copy and paste cells in same way as in Excel.
Delete command in list just deletes selected differences. In worksheet view it deletes selection - if range is selected - it is cleared. If rows are selected - they are deleted, if columns are selected - they are deleted.
